Job Description:

Select is excited to be working with KB Heating & Air Conditioning in their search for a Commercial Administrative Assistant!  This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a candidate who likes to work in a busy and team-oriented environment. Their ideal candidate will be able to wear multiple hats throughout the day and work well within a team environment!

Compensation & Hours:

• The salary is expected to be $45K - $50K/yr. depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, daytime hours

Position Summary:

• Distributing, filing, and scanning timecards
• Setting up contracts, billing, and costs for new jobs
• Calling in permit inspections
• Managing projects; writing purchase orders, bonding, insurance, change requests/orders, completing operational/maintenance manuals
• Working closely with the estimating team, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Updating safety manuals
• Reviewing and filing hazard assessments, toolbox/safety meetings, employee safety tickets, and any incident reports
• Orientating and training new employees
• Filling out WCB claims
• Conducting internal and external audits

Required Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Occupational Health & Safety procedures
• Confidence to bring new ideas to the table
• Diligent with keen attention to detail
• The capacity to learn a variety of programs and software
• Flexible and adaptable
• Data driven

Bonus Points For:

• Previous administrative experience in the construction industry
