Select People Solutions is growing! We are adding a new member to our team who is an energetic and driven individual that specializes in business development. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a background in the manufacturing or agriculture industry – Lethbridge is home to dozens of production-based operations and experience in this field will allow optimal insight.

Compensation & Hours:

• The base salary is to be $37K - $42K/yr. plus commission and bonus
• This is a permanent, full time position

Position Summary:

• Continually learning about the Lethbridge market; what’s hot, what’s new, where is the opportunity
• Generating new leads, following up and bringing in new recruitments for the team to work on
• Promoting the business throughout Southern Alberta
• Meeting with employers/hiring managers to understand the key requirements and outcomes for their job vacancies
• Developing sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts
• Tracking and following up on job leads
• Fostering existing and new customer loyalty

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in professional sales
• Post-secondary education in Business Management, Marketing or Entrepreneurship
• A broad understanding of (or keen interest in) the Lethbridge job market
• Emotional intelligence to be able to quickly build relationships and understand the priorities of employers
• Accountability: this role has the potential to be highly autonomous – you need to have a positive outlook, confidence, and a make-it-happen attitude withing our guiding principles, values, and code of ethics
• Excellent verbal communication
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle
